Background
Zahid Husain created Search Quran Software being inspired 
from Jamal Nasir’s software “DivineIslam” in 2007.
His motivation towards “Search Quran and Hadees Softwares” was that he received a lot of troubles in finding materials in Urdu on Quran on the internet. Therefore, he decided to create his own software, in which information on Quran in Urdu can easily be searched.
He started his work from typing Quran in Roman Urdu and designing the search engine. He translated Quran in roman Urdu in 10 months and designing of the software in 2 years. He took the Urdu translation from “Muhammad Jona Garghi” and English translation from “Muhammad Pk Thal”.

Search Quran software has two search boxes named search for parah and search for surah. Clicking on them will display the corresponding contents of surah or parah. Four types of translation are given below with them i-e Arabic, English, Urdu and Roman Urdu. You can also choose one from them. There is also a “Find” option, where you can find the number of times a word or phrase resides in a surah or parah by typing it in the “Find” box in any of the 3 languages. Similar capabilities are with the “Search Hadith” software, which is about hadiths from different sources like “Sahih Bukhari”, “Jamia Tarmizi” and many more.
Now he has launched a new software for mobile users as they are increasing day by day, so he launched his first software for iphone users as it is one of most used cell phones today. This software can be downloaded from apple store for just $3 and he is now trying for its Android version and soon it will be launched.

It is the first software in Urdu which is not in Image format as most of the software use images.You can copy and paste from it easily.

The mobile version of this software is currently designed for iphone users and they are working for android phones also,so please wait for some days.
